What is ArtsOpportunities.org ArtsOpportunities.org is an online classifieds bank serving all arts disciplines. ArtsOpportunities.org was developed by The Southern Arts Federation in partnership with The Center for Arts Management and Technology at Carnegie Mellon (CAMT), and in June 2009, CAMT took over the sole responsibility of maintaining the site. This free Internet tool will connect arts-related organizations with artists, interns, volunteers and potential employees. What makes ArtsOpportunities.org Unique? Its specific to the arts industry organizations will now have a human resource tool that allows them to target and recruit a diverse group of art-related individuals. A free membership includes: 1) ability to create postings of all types: employment, internship and call for artist (artist opportunities) 2) receive resumes by e-mail 3) manage your postings by making changes, additions or deletions and 4) review and change your account status. By having these features organizations save time and money for busy organizations. Additionally, opportunity seekers now have centralized access to a base of organizations, solely dedicated to hiring or listing possible arts-related employment, internships, volunteer, and artist opportunities. In an easy-to-use searchable database, ArtsOpportunities.org will offer a wide variety of full- and part-time administrative, and technical positions, as well as, artist opportunities. Artist opportunities include: artists in the classroom, grant opportunities, calls for artwork, auditions and much more. Users may search by any type of arts discipline and sub-categories within each discipline, geographic locations, keywords, job type, or any combination of these criterias providing a much faster and more efficient search experience. There is a top navigation bar with general access to: Home, Search for Opportunities (Search options), For Organizations (the organizations posting section) and FAQs (provides answers to general questions). There are footer links the provide access to Home, Search for Opportunities, For Organizations, Accessibility Notes, Terms of Service, and Contact Us. At the start of each Web page there will be a "Skip to Content" link which will allow you to by-pass the top navigation.
